Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Nedbank Golf Challenge
Only two weeks left in the Race to Dubai, and we have another loaded field with a lot of the top players in the world. Just like last week we have a smaller field and a no-cut event. Speaking of last week, we had a decent week that allowed us to cash in GPPs using the core, but probably not loaded enough to take down any sizable wins. By owning roughly a third of each of the top three priced guys it allowed us to have exposure to what I felt were the three guys that had by far the best chance of winning. Fortunately I was correct as Justin Rose came away victorious again as he continues to ride his hot streak. If you were to have paired him with Uihlein (T14), Pepperell (T6), Westwood (T20), or Luiten (T16) and were able to avoid some of the grenades like Bertasio, Warren, or Wallace then you gave yourself a decent chance. I did not build too many teams as the Euro contests on Draftkings continue to be underwhelming and the ones that I did have, managed to contain a grenade. I was slightly profitable in Euro GPPs last week, but barely enough to buy a cup of coffee.
This week we save some solid tournament history to work with and the pricing structure is reasonable. I think we will be able to build some legitimate teams with upside and hopefully slaughter the Euro Tour GPPs.
