Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Mexico Open
The Tour heads south across the border this week to Vallarta, Mexico for the Mexico Open at Vidanta. There is no way to sugar coat it, the field is extremely weak. As much as we have liked the elevated events this year, where all the top names gather, this is the downside to that, where next to nobody attends events like these. The exception is of course Jon Rahm, who comes in as an insane 2.5-1 favorite. If Draftkings wanted to make it interesting they would have priced him to reflect the gap between him and everybody else (around $14,000). I am not sure how he is not going to be owned by 40% or possibly more of the field in GPPs this week. The big decision is what to do with him and I will go into what my strategy is this week. Weeks like these we need to work a bit harder and dig a bit deeper, but I think that only helps us at FGI. Best of luck this week my friends!
