Jeff’s Hardcore Core- John Deere Classic

A very boom and bust week last week for the core as a lot of players played extremely well, but others completely busted.  Russell Henley, Joquin Niemann, Ryan Moore, J.J Spaun, Jamie Lovemark, Keith Mitchell all gave us a chance to compete in GPPs, however the likes of J.B Holmes, Jimmy Walker, Aaron Wise, and Patrick Rodgers bombed so bad that it sunk all the teams in which they occupied roster spots, which unfortunately was many.  I did not have Kevin Na in my core, as I often do not, so that also pretty much eliminated any chance of taking down a big one.  I was happy to see some of you who did utilize the good parts of my core and even mixed in some shares of Kevin Na, and were able to have some nice paydays.  Certainly not the type of week we hope for and this will not be the last as GPPs are extremely difficult, but when we do hit our core hard, they result in a huge payday, which is what we strive for.  This week we have the John Deere Classic, another less than stellar field, so I would reduce your bankroll exposure again this week.  Next week we have The Open Championship and we will start putting out information later this week into the weekend.
