Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Italian Open

A rather disappointing week from the Euro Core last week, especially considering how dominant it was for the Omega Masters two weeks ago. I knew Joost Luiten would be the popular choice in GPPs, and I was correct, so I faded him intentionally and unfortunately it was one of those times where we got burned. Not only that, but due to a freak bee sting of all things Thomas Pieters withdrew last second and we got stuck with a -0- in some lineups. Overall not a plus week in GPPs, but we will respond.

With the absence of the PGA Tour this week, Draftkings decided to boost the European Contests this week. The $3 Birdie has a first prize of $5k and the $33 Dogleg winner will pocket $10k. I hope the momentum continues through the Fall, because there are some big events coming up and the fields will be loaded. I believe that we have an edge over the field with all the information we offer for your research of the Euro Tour. Don’t get me wrong, it is not easy and has proven to be very volatile at times. But now with our Euro FGI model, I feel like we can identify value and for sure be profitable in cash games, while taking a few shots in GPPs.

Best of luck this week!
