Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Farmers Insurance Open

The Farmers Insurance Open is this week’s event and takes place at Torrey Pines in sunny San Diego, California.  It is a full field event and just like last week, they will have a two-course rotation Torrey Pines (South) and Torrey Pines (North) with the players playing the courses each of the first two days, then a standard Top 65 and ties cut, before playing the South course twice over the weekend.  There is always a dramatic difference in difficulty between the two courses with the North course playing much easier, while the South course playing more with a U.S Open type difficulty.  Speaking of U.S Open, that is where this years U.S Open will be held, so it will provide us (and the players) a nice preview.  As is usual for this event, we have a really strong field this week, so it should be fun.  Good luck Team FGI!
