Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Dubai Duty Free Irish Open (European Tour Package)

Zach and I are embarking on our annual trip out to Las Vegas this week and my plan was to put some money down on certain golfers this week at the sportsbooks for The Open Championship. One of those guys was Tommy Fleetwood as I felt his odds were extremely generous for how well he has been playing this season. Well the delicious odds that I was three days away from getting in my grasp evaporated on Sunday as Fleetwood cruised to an impressive victory in France. So even though I had him in my Core and overweight the field in DFS, it was a bittersweet win. In addition to having Fleetwood in the Core, we also had Uihlein (runner-up) who has been a frequent member of the Core this season. Rounding out the Top three was the best pick of the Core, which was Alexander Bjork, who was only $6,700. We had 11 of the Core make the cut, but guys like Fritelli, Hatton, Stone, and Lipsky all let us down and ruined a few of my rosters, hopefully they did not bite you.

This week we have the Irish Open, followed by the Scottish Open next week leading into The Open Championship. I would encourage you to pay close attention to these European events and start keying in on who you like for the third major. Not only are the top Euro guys playing in these events but the top players from the PGA Tour will be making appearances as well.

Much like we have seen on the PGA Tour this year, Draftkings has been extremely generous on the price of a handful of players in the field this week. If you utilize our sportsbook odds vs. daily pricing tool, you will see several of these players. Also look closely at the FGI Euro Model this week as it is very telling and I like the outputs a ton. I will even be playing heavy in Euro cash games this week I feel so strongly, which is something that I do not normally do.
