The CJ Cup has a new home this year and that new home is lavish Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas Nevada. For those of you unfamiliar with Shadow Creek, it was built by Steve Wynn in 1989 and cost over $60 million dollars. Reportedly three million cubic yards of desert dirt were dug up during construction. That dirt was used to form berms around the perimeter of the course, making it impossible to see in. It is a public course and can be played by all MGM guests, but it costs a cool $500 to play, so it eliminates most of the general public that way. If you have never seen Shadow Creek, I recommend you take a look at the hole by hole on PGA Tour.com. It is a phenomenally beautiful course and it will be fun following along for this week’s event.

Best of luck this week Team FGI!
