Jeff’s Hardcore Core- British Masters (European Package)

Last week the Alfred Dunhill was very good for us and the Hardcore Core.  In fact, only two guys included in the Core missed the cut, which is extremely difficult to do in what has proven to be a highly volatile European Tour.  I am kicking myself for not including Hatton, as I went back and forth on him multiple times leading up to publishing time.  Even without him, I was able to double my money in GPPs and I know many of you did well too, from your emails and tweets.

This week we have another strong field for the British Masters in the U.K and we will try and follow up on the success that we have had over the past month. I talk a little about a strategy I have been using for Euro events as well this week.

Good luck!

Jeff’s Hardcore Core & Optimal Lineup- British Masters

[cointent_lockedcontent view_type=”condensed buyButtonOff” article_labels=”Euro”]

Optimal Lineup (produced my FGI Euro Model).  This geared mostly toward cash games, but can also be GPP viable.

Name Salary
Tyrrell Hatton $10,700
Richard Bland $8,500
Bradley Dredge $8,200
Florian Fritsch $7,200
Fabrizio Zanotti $7,700
Gregory Bourdy $7,600

One thing we need to account for is the size of the Draftkings GPPs this week (much smaller field size) and the very difficult task of getting six guys through the cut on the Euro Tour.  For these reasons I am a bit more conservative and favoring cut-makers.  Over the past month, having a bunch of guys in the Top 10 hasn’t been imperative to winning GPP’s on the Euro Tour, its getting six guys through the cut and having a couple high finishes.  If you read this column every week, you know that I have been riding guys like Richard Bland and Nicolas Colsaerts every week, who provide a cut-making presence on rosters for a reasonable salary. Now watch those two miss the cut this week, but you get the idea.

Wiesberger $12,100

Noren $11,700

Kjeldsen $9,900

Fleetwood $9,300

Bland $8,500

Colsaerts $8,400

Dredge $8,200

Zanotti $7,700

Karlsson $7,400

Paratore $7,300

Fritsch $7,200

Ilonen $7,100

Karlberg $6,900

Lorenzo-Vera $6,700
