Jeff’s Hardcore Core- AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

The PGA Tour heads to one of my favorite courses on the planet this week, Pebble Beach.  In addition to my excitement for the course, I am also excited for a really strong field, which we get because of the elevated status of the event by the PGA Tour.  In other words, more money.

Up until last year this event featured a three-course rotation.  Now, they just play two courses (Pebble and Spyglass), and the pro-am portion will only be played the first two rounds.

The field is only 80 players and there is not a cut.  They will play both Pebble and Spyglass the first two days and then Pebble on Saturday and Sunday.  This is such a huge improvement over years past and I am really looking forward to it.
