Jeff’s Hardcore Core- AT&T Pebble Beach
The PGA Tour heads to one of my favorite courses on the planet this week, Pebble Beach. Despite the amazing location, the PGA had managed to make this event one of my least favorite on tour all year , but that will change this year. As opposed to in the past, the three-course rotation is gone (only two this year- Pebble and Spyglass), and the pro-am portion will only be playing the first two rounds. Heaven-forbid we just have the professionals play without the amateur hacks at all, but the PGA needs that CEO money. This is an elevated/signature event and the field is only 80 players and there is not a cut. They will play both Pebble and Spyglass the first two days and then Pebble on Saturday and Sunday. This is such a huge improvement over years past and I am really looking forward to it.
Best of luck this week Team FGI!
