Jeff’s Hardcore Core- AT&T Pebble Beach

Iconic Pebble Beach (one of my absolute favorite courses) is the host course for this week’s event.  I always look forward to this event because it is Pebble Beach, but normally it is a three course rotation (Spyglass and Monterey Peninsula) and it is a pro-am, so it drags my interest in it way down.  This year however, they have paired it down to just Pebble and Spyglass and done away with the pro-am, which makes it so much better.  The only problem now is the strength of the field, which is incredibly week.  With Dustin Johnson’s withdrawal it easily makes this field the weakest of this young season. Oh well, we can enjoy the fantastic views of Pebble without the stupidity of the amateurs, so at at least we have that going for us, which is nice.
