A pretty awesome and shocking week last week for THE PLAYERS Championship. It was such a cool tournament to attend, I hope that I can get back there some day. TPC Sawgrass is so difficult and offers so many challenging holes that nobody is safe. Every week we give shoutouts on our webcast to those members that had real nice success the previous week and for some reason this week we started talking about THE PLAYERS and never remembered the shout outs, so I would like to give a few right now.
Allen Maples took 2nd in the European $750 Short Game.

Ahosier, Primal1 took 2nd in the DK $15k back nine contest

Scott Toole took 9th in the $33 Dogleg and won $2k.

Last but certainly not least, Craig Chenosky entered two different teams in the $5k Wedge GPP and they finished first and second place, which is absolutely remarkable.

I know I missed some of you and for that I apologize, I do my best to write down everybody that we hear from on Twitter and through email.

It really is no surprise that we had so many winners in GPPS this week considering The Hardcore Core went a perfect 17 for 17 with guys making the cut. Only a few times have we hit 100% in the history of this column. We didn’t have an abundance of guys in the Top 10, but then again nobody did as Sii Woo Kim, Ian Poulter, Rafa Cabrera Bello were all barely owned throughout GPPs. Sii Woo was actually owned by .17% of the field in most contests, which made it one of those rare weeks that you could win without the champion on your roster. Kyle Stanley was our big score as he finished T4 and gave us a huge performance for his minimal price. I went real heavy Dustin Johnson and he finished as one of the highest point scorers of all the top tier guys. It was also one of those rare weeks where we didn’t see the top priced guys dominate in a star-studded field. Overall, a solid week for The Hardcore Core as we continue to see rewards for all of our hard work. This week we move back to Texas for the Byron Nelson and as always I have a distinct strategy that I will be implementing, including guys that I will be rostering and guys I will be strategically fading. Check it out below.
