Jeff’s Hardcore Core-Arnold Palmer Invitational

Congratulations to everybody who emailed and tweeted us their successes last week.  It was a good week, but also a frustrating week, because every lineup I had with the likes of Stenson, Dufner, Hadwin was ruined by the likes of Horschel, Kirk, or Spaun.  Overall, I broke even on GPPs (mostly because of my heavy exposure to Hadwin) but if I could have avoided that one grenade on every team I would have had a monster week.  It sounds like many of you avoided those grenades, so for that I congratulate you.  Keep up the hard work my friends and do not get discouraged.  GPPs are extremely difficult to win, especially those with 100,000+ entrants.  You really only need a couple of big weeks every year to make yourself profitable.

This week is interesting because we have an invitational event, which means we only have 120 players in the field.  This is going to change my strategy a little bit and I will talk about it shortly.  We go back to some real head scratchers with pricing this week, with some top-level talent priced amongst some real scrubs.  Draftkings has a $4 contest this week with $100,000 top prize, so this would be a decent time to use the Lineup Generator.  Best of luck this week my friends!
