Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- WGC St Jude
OVERVIEW
We never got the better number on Finau as he contended from his opening 18, and DJ did us a favor by withdrawing before we could bite on whatever number the betting sites were going to give us. Homa had us captivated for the back nine on Sunday, but ultimately it was Michael Thompson walking away with the trophy at the 3M last week, a well-deserved win. This week we get our first no-cut event in what seems like since January as we head to Memphis for the WGC St. Jude. The field is stacked, the betting odds are wonky to say the least and DK pricing is soft again, so we’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Last year Brooks beat out Webb (by 3) to capture the trophy, but all of the big names were in the mix on Sunday – Fleetwood & Rory finished T4, Rahm finished 7th, and Cantlay, JT & Reed all finished finished 12th (10 shots back). Obviously, ball strikers will thrive on a tight course with fast greens so I’d expect most of them to contend again.
