Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Volvo China Open (European Package)

OVERVIEW

We stick around in China for one more week as the European Tour kicks off the Volvo China Open. Last year Haotong Li dusted the field (by Euro standards) in route to a three shot win over Felipe Aguilar. Li was able to do very well on this course by playing the Par 4’s at -16 (Aguilar was -12), so naturally we should look at a players Par 4 scoring ability this week. Speaking of the Par 4’s, there are two that are drive-able by the longer hitters (317 & 365 yards respectively) so there could be some nice bonus points on the course this week. Weather as of writing looks ideal compared to last week, as there isn’t any rain currently in the forecast, though winds are expected to be fairly high (~20mph) so make sure you’re checking weather reports before lock on Wednesday afternoon/early evening.
