Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Valspar Championship

OVERVIEW

We stick around the dirty south for a few more weeks on the PGA Tour. Last week’s trip to NOLA was fun and definitely created some buzz about changing the format for one or more events on the PGA Tour in the future, though most of that came via Golf Twitter and not anyone who can actually make the changes so we’ll see how that plays out. We’re back to regular stroke play with the normal cut line at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Florida this week. We stick around on bermuda grass greens and warm temperatures that Florida brings, however, the course is much more difficult than we’ve seen lately, and the winds are sure to be a factor this week. Either way, it looks to be a great week of golf and I’m looking forward to hitting a winner from a betting perspective. One note, when comparing pricing to OWGR (if that’s a thing) Corey Conners is not considered a value at all considering how expensive he is and is currently ranked the #38 player in the world. That being said, he’s been absolute fire leading in and everyone seemingly wants to bet on him this week considering his strong play at the Arnold Palmer Invitational a couple weeks back as well as at The Masters. He will be chalky this week at his elevated price tag, so do what you want with that information.
