Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Tshwane Open (European Tour Package)
OVERVIEW
Last year we nabbed Burmester as the winner, and we’ll look to start the Euro streak back up this week after Eddie Pepperell’s brilliant performance in Qatar. This week we’re back in South Africa (at altitude) where the residents probably have a distinct advantage over players traveling from other countries. The course has been made a bit easier over the years, so we should expect similar scoring to what we’ve seen the past three years. The weather looks great, temps in the 70’s and no rain currently in the forecast so hopefully that sticks. The rough is a bit thick here, so there’s merit to targeting accurate players off the tee, especially since the altitude should give the shorter hitters a bump in distance. Bombers have won here as well, so it wouldn’t make sense to discount supreme length off the tee.
