Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Tour Championship
OVERVIEW
The final week of the 2019-2020 season is upon us, even if it doesn’t feel like it is. This week is a 30-man field with no cut and some of the names who have made it this far aren’t exactly the cream of the crop so we should see an emphasis on stars & scrubs builds across all contest types. Personally, I won’t be making any pre-tournament bets, nor will I be playing any contests this week as I typically only play one lineup and I do not like doing that in a small field. Instead I’ll be focusing on live betting and potentially experimenting with some Showdown builds. If you’re a one lineup player like myself who also plays cash games & single entry, I think you can approach this week as a normal week. As you may have heard on last week’s broadcast, this week the scores will be staggered to start the event with Dustin Johnson beginning the week with a 2-stroke advantage over Jon Rahm. Here’s the full adjusted leaderboard. Also, its worth noting that this is the 2nd year of this format and last year Rory won coming from 5 strokes back.
Dustin Johnson -10
Jon Rahm -8
JT -7
Webb -6
Morikawa -5
Berger, English, Bryson, Sungjae, Hideki -4
Todd, Rory, Reed, Schauffele, Munoz -3
Lanto, Scheffler, Niemann, Hatton, Finau -2
Kisner, Ancer, Palmer, Na, Leishman -1
Cam Smith, Hovland, Hughes, Champ, Horschel – Even
