Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- The Masters

OVERVIEW

There’s not much to say about this week that you don’t already know. We get our first “spring Masters” since 2019, and that seems like ages ago (Tiger won that year). Speaking of Tiger, he’s not in the field, still recovering from his car accident which caused him to undergo more surgeries. Speaking of surgeries, based on Brooks Koepka’s IG (the only way we can really find out anything about golfers these days) he’s making the trip to Augusta and seems intent on playing. We haven’t heard much about his knee surgery again since he had it done and there was skepticism surrounding his actual return date, but it seems as though he’s healthy enough to play. He should be treated as a GPP dart as we know his desire to win majors, but we also know he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed and playing when he thinks he’s ready but his body might say otherwise could be a bad decision. I can’t endorse playing him with any confidence.
