OVERVIEW

Lanto chalk week ended up working out for those of us who played him (and there were several of us that did). Now we begin the Asian swing as we head to South Korea for the no-cut, CJ Cup. The sample size on this event is small as this is just the third time the event has been played so we’re still working out the kinks on how to dial in our players. Adding more difficulty to that is the lack of shotlink data, but because we have a solid base of information on most players in the field, we should be able to narrow down our player pools. The course is super cool looking and boasts some spectacular views. It’s an undulating course that runs through a forest and features several holes that dog-leg and water comes into play on four of the eighteen holes. Wind is a primary defense as the layout is pretty forgiving, but if the wind doesn’t blow, we can expect low scores as we saw last year. The Par 5’s makes up three of the six easiest holes on the course, so Par 5 scoring seems imperative and the majority of the Par 4’s are all 400-450 yards, making long iron play a strong stat to key in on. Scrambling around these greens is also a key component in finding our winner.
