Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview-Tenerife Open (Euro Tour- Pro Pack Members)

OVERVIEW

We spend another week in the Canary Islands, Spain as we have the inaugural debut of the Tenerife Open. The course looks even more breath-taking than what we saw last week if you can imagine that. It looks a lot like Kapalua based on the photos I saw online, so I think we should probably treat it as such in some respects. Of course, none of the players who have played Kapalua on the PGA Tour are here this week, so you’ll just have to imagine how they would play (think more off the tee players than strictly solid iron players). Before we get into the course and players, it’s worth noting that this will be the first of two weeks of play at this course and if we’ve learned anything about back-to-back events at the same course, it’s that good form can stick around the following week. The field is similar in strength to last week’s event, so I think taking a balanced approach again this week is the right play as the high-priced talent isn’t too far off from the mid-range and value plays.
