Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Shriners Hospital for Children Open
OVERVIEW
We get a pretty stacked field this week in Las Vegas with the reigning US Open Champion, Bryson Dechambeau returning to action as well as Webb Simpson, Tony Finau and Shriner’s course horse Patrick Cantlay. This event has been a scorefest over the years, so there’s not much for me to think it won’t be again this year. I didn’t write up Scottie Scheffler this week, but I do think it’s probably going to be a bounceback week for him as he disappointed a ton of people in One & Done’s last week and we never got a good feel for how bad his COVID symptoms were during his time away. This course would be a perfect setup for his game, so keep that in mind when making your lineups. Kevin Na is your defending champion, and he won last year gaining a massive number of strokes on the greens and actually losing strokes from tee to green, which is unheard of. Don’t use his path to success from last year in order to make your decisions this week as historically this course has rewarded ball strikers (Total Driving / SG: OTT + SG: APP) like most courses on Tour.
