Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Safeway Open

OVERVIEW

The 2020-2021 Season is finally upon us! Joking of course as there is literally no break for the PGA Tour this “year”. We go from bermuda grass greens in Atlanta, GA to the Poa Annua of California this week as we settle in for the Safeway Open at Silverado Resort & Spa (North). Typically the field enjoys a bit of a breather this week as scoring is relatively easy compared to the rest of the schedule, of course a lot of that has to do with the weather so at worst we should expect the course to play around Tour average in scoring. One thing to keep in mind this week – next week is the US Open. If your players get off to a bad start, you’re probably looking at a DGAF Friday round or a WD. Be mindful of those who have something to play for this week.
