Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- RSM Classic
OVERVIEW
The Seaside Mafia returns home this week as we head to Georgia for the final leg before most of the players into the holiday break. The course favors ball strikers and strong putters (weird, because that’s never been said before) and we’ll be leaning heavily on Georgia born players, as well as players who played collegiate golf in the south this week. Former winners Kevin Kisner, Chris Kirk are both from the area and we’ve seen players such as Matt Kuchar, Harris English, Jonathan Byrd and Stewart Cink all play well here in the past, so if you’re trying to make 1v1 decisions between a Sea Island guy and a non-resident, I’d lean on the resident this week. As far as the course is concerned, it’s a less than driver course (LTD) that forces players to club down, features fairly easy to hit fairways (probably because most players aren’t hitting drivers) and the wind will be a factor this week as the Seaside Course (host course) is a coastal course with no defense against the wind. I’ve listed my corollary courses below, which should help us narrow down some strong plays for GPP’s this week.
