Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Qatar Masters (European Tour Package)
OVERVIEW
We’re back in the Middle East this week as the European Tour kicks off the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. The names in the field aren’t what the European Tour would like, as many of their stars are in Florida for the Honda. This week we’re at Doha GC, a links layout (hard, bouncy fairways) which is susceptible to the elements (wind) and as a last line of defense features six holes where water comes into play. Bombers get the advantage here as the rough isn’t too thick and all of the par 3’s are quite long, which also favors ball strikers (naturally). If you’re struggling between a 2v2 swap, what I would use is the combined finishing result between those players from last week’s event, Abu Dhabi and the Portugal Masters as those are our corollary courses this week.
