Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Portugal Masters (European Tour Package)

OVERVIEW

Dom Pedro is an Arnold Palmer resort course that should lend itself to many birdies again this year. The course is exposed to the elements if there are any to speak of that week. If the wind doesn’t blow, these guys will absolutely smash this course as we’ve seen the past three years or so. The rough isn’t very penal as it’s a resort course, so I wouldn’t worry too much about targeting too many accuracy off the tee guys this week; it’s a bomb and gouge approach for me. The biggest defense against low scores is the undulating greens, but those haven’t posed a huge threat over the years, though I will still be targeting players with supreme ball striking skills. Of course, with NFL going on here in the states, Euro Golf gets overlooked even more than usual, but there are still plenty of contests and money to be won so don’t let the prize pools deter you from playing.
