Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- PGA Championship
OVERVIEW
The year’s final major is upon us and luckily for us its being held at a venue we have plenty of course history for! Below I’ve listed the winner of the PGA Championship for the year listed, as well as the winner of the Wells Fargo Championship (as this course typically hosts that event as well during the year. This year the WF was held at a different location in preparation of the PGA). Early reports as of writing are that the forecast calls for a lot of rain, so naturally we’ll need to keep a close eye on tee time draws and the forecast. I will say that historically wet conditions have been very good to Rory, but that was back when he was trying to accept Tiger’s throne and the competition wasn’t quite as balanced as it is today. DJ, Day, Rahm, Hideki, Sergio, Brooks, Pieters, Fleetwood and a couple others have the ability to take advantage of soft conditions so let’s not hand Rory the Wannamaker quite yet.
