Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Nedbank Challenge (European Tour Package)

There are two weeks remaining in the Race to Dubai Championship and for whatever reason, Tommy Fleetwood isn’t playing this week in South Africa. There is no cut this week, so make sure you’re aware of that prior to building lineups. Whether you’re playing cash or GPP, we should be focusing on building high ceiling lineups because outside of a withdrawal, everyone will be playing for four days. Looking at the past champions at this course, it’s very Tour caliber heavy, so my initial thoughts would be to try to play as many high-quality golfers in your lineup as you can – IE: Balanced approach vs. Stars & Scrubs. Ironically with the course being as long as it is, you don’t have to be a bomber to do well here; though it certainly helps. Ball striking and putting should be of higher importance this week, and I’d also put an emphasis on scrambling as the greens here aren’t’ the easiest in the world to hit. One last item, the course plays at over 7,800 yards, but that isn’t a true depiction of the length as they’re at over 3,700 feet above sea level, which may explain why shorter hitters have fared well here in the past.
