Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Farmers Insurance Open

OVERVIEW
The second leg of the California Swing kicks off this week as we head further south to San Diego. Last week we had a three-course rotation, and this week we only get two! The North Course is the easier of the two and  I like to target good players heavily while taking a few shots on guys who are known to start well on the easier course (aka I fill out my roster with the guys I want and fill in the last 2 spots with guys that will fit and have a shot at cracking the Top 30 if they start out well). The South course is the longer of the two, meaning bombers get the advantage at both courses, so naturally if you target middle of the field in driving distance-type players, you’ll be taking a contrarian approach to roster construction. Course history seems to be an important factor here as the same guys typically do well year after year, but I’d lean on that as more of a tie-breaker between two players rather than a starting point. For One & Done this week, I’ll be looking at Rory, Finau, Champ, Cantlay and Xander as my Top 5.
