Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Dutch Open (Euro Tour- Pro Pack Members)
Welcome to the Week 38 of the Golf Calendar Year!
My apologies for the delay in getting the column out. I was not sure if DraftKings was going to host a contest or not, so I waited a bit to see. I had started the process of converting this into more of a course preview and betting article, when I saw the salaries drop Tuesday Morning and decided to convert this back into old faithful. That’s neither here nor there, we have European Golf, and we will get there in a moment.
Before we dive and equally important, we have the PGA 2021-2022 season getting under way in California! As always check out what Jeff and Zach have to say about the Fortinet (Am I the only one that still wants to call it the Safeway?) And I will give another shout out for the “11 Newcomers to Watch” article as there are some names in there that could prove helpful and potentially valuable over these first few fall swing tournaments.
Congrats to Billy Ho on winning the BMW PGA last week! We tossed up some interesting names in the process, but nobody could stay hot enough, long enough (I am looking at you Thomas Pieters), but there was some entertaining golf, especially with the final European Ryder Cup Captain’s Picks on the line. Did they get them, right? We will see next week. I will say between the two squads, I do think the Americans should be favored, but I don’t think it will necessarily be the blowout that many pundits are already predicting. We will see and discuss more next week and certainly in Slack!
