Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Dell Technologies Championship
OVERVIEW
Week 2 of the FedEx Cup playoffs is here as we travel northeast to TPC Boston. The course is fairly tough as it ranked 28th out of 50 courses last year, but looking at the scores from the last five years leads me to believe these guys won’t have any issues with it. Three par 5’s this week means we should see some good looks at birdies, and possibly eagles (especially on the 18th hole which ranked the easiest of all 18 holes last year and yielded 17 eagles over four rounds. There were actually five eagles on the 17th hole as well last year, which is a high risk, high reward par 4. The course rewards ball striking just like many on tour, but it’s not really a bomb & gouge course, so we should see a mix of players in the hunt this week. As far as the field goes, only the Top 100 players in the FedEx Cup playoffs are here, Rickie Fowler and Francesco Molinari have already removed themselves from the field, so don’t play them.
