Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Corales Puntacana Championship

OVERVIEW

We go from a major to the Puntacana this week, which usually has played as an alternate field event in the past. Last year’s champion, Graeme McDowell, caught a hot putter for four days edging out Chris Stroud & Mackenzie Hughes for the win. Ball strikers should still prevail this week as Sungjae Im ranked 1^st in strokes gained: Tee to Green and Ball striking last year and ended up finishing T7. This might be the rare week where we want to look at consistent putters to go along with our ball strikers as the wind can pick up and move balls in flight. It wouldn’t hurt to go after the few players in the field who play well on coastal courses.
