Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- CIMB Classic

OVERVIEW

Last week was the first event of the new season, this week we get the first no-cut event of the season. 78 players make up the field at this week’s CIMB Classic at The TPC Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia in the first of three events in Asia. Defending champions have fared well here in the past as both Justin Thomas & Ryan Moore successfully defended their previous year’s titles, but players who have finishes in the Top 5 have also repeated strong performances here year after year (See Gary Woodland, Kevin Na). Kiradech Aphibarnrat makes his debut at this event and will probably be a fairly popular play as he’s Malaysian, but I’m not 100% sold on him yet even though he did play well in World Golf Championships last year – which helped him get in. The best part about this week will be the viewing as the time zone difference means we get night golf!
