Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- British Masters (European Tour Package)

OVERVIEW
The British Masters changes venues again this year as we move from Walton Heath to Hillside Golf Club, where Tommy Fleetwood hosts. None of the previous hosts have won this event, so right away that gives us pause on backing him (as you’ll see below). The course has been compared to Carnoustie in its layout, so if you’re looking for a tie-breaker between players, that would be the comparable course/event I’d look to. The front nine is relatively flat (again with the Carnoustie angle), and the back nine leads the players to sand hills and a stadium-course-esque feeling for the fans (the back nine has been compared to Royal Birkdale – Open Championship). As of writing, rain is in the forecast for Wednesday, which could soften the greens, but the winds are supposed to be up, which should negate any of the softening due to precipitation. Of course, the weather in this area can change at the drop of a hat, so make sure you’re keeping tabs on what’s going on as we lead into the first tee time come Thursday morning.
