Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- AT&T Byron Nelson

OVERVIEW

We go from a familiar course to a completely unknown course this week in Texas as we head to TPC Craig Ranch. The course has hosted two KFT/Nationwide Tour events in the past in 2008 & 2012. Notables who are in the field this week that played way back when are Marc Leishman (’08 – T7) Russell Henley (’12 – T6). This can’t possibly be real information, but I think I’d like Leishman regardless of knowing whether or not he’s played the course before, let alone 13 years ago. I’ll be honest with you, I’m a beaten man right now after having so much success last year post Covid-19 break. Maybe I have become too comfortable in my process, or too cocky or too something, but I’m able to identify the correct plays just not the guys winning. If I take a step back from how I’m currently doing, I think it might be best to dial back my outright betting (either in total units spent or to-win units, but the latter creates a major FOMO if I do hit a winner with less to win money) until I hit a winner. The other thing is maybe I need to stay off of social media to see everyone else around me having success while I continue to light money on fire. Either way, I think my pain is a good lesson for our members to learn from. Never get comfortable, and always try to be better at whatever it is you do.
