Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (European Tour Package)
OVERVIEW
This week we have a unique event where the cut comes after 54 holes. All of the players will play each course once, and Sunday’s final round will be played at The Old Course. The weather this week will be the main issue as it’s supposed to be cold, windy and rainy for most of the weekend as of writing. The only Americans sticking around after getting trounced in Paris will be Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka, and I think they’re two guys that need to be looked at in tournaments – you’ll see their names below. Two of the courses suit both of their games (Old Course & Carnoustie) and both played well at Carnoustie in this year’s Open Championship, even if the course will look a bit different three months later (it should play much easier). The event also plays host to a pro-am similar to Pebble Beach (slow, bad celebs), but I have yet to figure out who this helps and who this hurts so I’ll let you decide if you’re going to play or fade any specific player because of this.
