Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (European Tour Package)

OVERVIEW

This week we have a unique event where the cut comes after 54 holes. All of the players will play each course once ( Old Course-St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingbarn), and Sunday’s final round will be played at The Old Course. The weather this week will be the main issue as it’s supposed to be cold, windy and rainy for most of the weekend as of writing. If players start off badly, I could see a lot of 36-hole mail-ins forthcoming so don’t be surprised if your lineups seem dead after day 1.   Be sure to look closely at our European Tournament History Page as we have some solid course history numbers for this event and The Open Championship in recent years.

• Strong Emphasis – Greens in Regulation, Driving Distance (this is primarily due to more holes being played at St. Andrews, though Carnoustie should play to bombers hands), Putting Average, Scrambling
