Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Alfred Dunhill Championship (Euro Tour-Pro Pack Members)
OVERVIEW
We were close to victory last week with Wilco and then he forgot how to dominate coming home and ended up handing the event to JB Hansen (someone we have been on quite a bit this season). Good for JB, not great for us. That being said, we move onto an event where we’ve hit winners at the last two years in a row, so we have something positive to look forward to from a betting perspective and from a DFS perspective we have good contests this week, so we have that as well! Leopard Creek GC hosts the Alfred Dunhill Championship yet again and if you watch any of the telecast, you’ll see plenty of wildlife this week as its shown every year at length and is quite a sight if I’m being honest. The course has hosted the event since 2004, so we have plenty of course history for once, which is always a good thing when trying to decide between a couple players. The kikuyu fairways are long gone and the bermuda grass has fully grown in now as we’re in the 3rd year of growth since the redesign. Fairways have also been made a bit firmer and faster, which hasn’t made the course any easier for the pros (especially when the wind is up). Speaking of wind, as of writing the temperatures are expected to be in the 80’s to 100’s this week and winds are expected to be light from 5 to 15 mph. There isn’t any rain in the forecast anymore either, which is always a good thing as DFS players. This week the biggest stat to target will be greens in regulation, whether its from the fairway or rough.
