OVERVIEW

The European Tour kicks off this week for the first time in 2021 on a course where we have plenty of course history to go off of. The only issue that’s concerning this week is the fact that a lot of the players in the field haven’t teed it up in many weeks because of the holidays and having status primarily on the European Tour versus the PGA Tour. That being said, we have a really strong field when looking at the names, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from that you recognize. For GPPs I think I would take early shots on guys who had a poor 2020 [like Martin Kaymer, Justin Rose, Ian Poulter, and Henrik Stenson] because you’d have to think that the competition will be looking at their most recent rounds thinking that they will continue to play poorly, when in fact the change of the calendar can have a positive impact on player’s games – especially when off for an extended period of time.
