Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship (Euro Tour Package)

OVERVIEW
Welcome back to European Tour golf! We begin this season in Abu Dhabi, UAE and yet another year where Tommy Fleetwood defends his title, something we should get used to seeing hopefully soon on the PGA Tour. The course is a par 72 that measures just under 7,600 yards with bermuda greens which typically run around 12-12’6” on the stimp meter (this would be considered fast greens for the Euro Tour). The course is flat and exposed, has tight fairways and some sharp bunker placement making it somewhat of an accuracy off the tee type of course. Greens in regulation/ball striking remains the most prominent stat to target this week, so leaning on guys who accel in this category is something you’ll notice from the write-up. As far as previous winners go, this event has been bested by favorites or close to them over the past few years. Tommy went off last year as a high favorite and won at around 50/1 the year before. Rickie won here as a co-favorite of sorts and then you get the Gary Stal and Pablo longshot wins. Class typically shines here, so try to build your lineups with as much class as possible and try to only take one dart if you can.
