Fantasy Golf Tournament Preview- 3M Open
OVERVIEW
Last week was a blood bath for me taking Webb, Tiger and Brooks over Rahm. I wasn’t convinced that he “found something” during his mid-60’s Sunday round at the Workday and it cost me my one & done selection, all of my DFS entries as well as all of my bets. We will put that behind us and focus on this week’s task at hand – the 3M Open in Minnesota. The good news this week is that Tommy Fleetwood returns to action in his first event since the restart. I can’t not recommend him this week, especially after seeing he shot 64 at Shinnecock over the weekend. This course is no Shinnecock that’s for certain, but if he’s playing well enough to go that low out there, I can only imagine where his goals are for this week. Outside of Tommy we get DJ, Brooks, Finau, and Paul Casey at the top of the board. I doubt I’ll be betting any of them this week at the slashed odds, but my lean would be to wait on “bad” first rounds for DJ & Finau and try to grab them at anything greater than 30/1. If DJ is seemingly “out of it” after the first round, I don’t think I’ll bite as he has a tendency to pack it up after a disappointing first round.
