Jeff’s Hardcore Core- FedEx St Jude Championship

The theme of my article last week was the youth movement and boy did that come to fruition.  Besides having large exposures to Michael Brennan, Davis Thompson, and Ben James in DFS, I also cashed a nice 45-1 ticket on Brennan.  These guys are not going away and will continue to do damage on the PGA Tour.

The FedEx Cup Playoffs kick off this week with the FedEx St Jude Classic hosted by TPC Southwind. This event has been a regular on tour, in 2018 it became a WGC event and then became the first event of the Playoffs.  The Top 70 in the FedEx Cup rankings will be competing this week with the Top 50 advancing to next week’s BMW.  Then of course the Top 30 make it to the finale at East Lake.

I was able to attend the 2021 version of this event at TPC Southwind and really enjoyed my time walking and exploring the course.  It is a fun course and it should be a great event this week with the world’s best.
