Be sure to click on the “Fantasy Golf Insider Beat the Experts FanDuel Contest” link above and get an entry into this exclusive FGI contest over on FanDuel.  This is a great contest to gauge your PGA DFS skills competing against the team here at FGI.  FanDuel also has decent prize pools for the Wells Fargo Championship so be sure to check out their contest lobby as well.

The Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina returns as host for the Wells Fargo Championship after taking a year off while it prepped for its duty as host of the 2017 PGA Championship.  The course layout has only been slightly altered since then so it will play very similar to how it did eight months ago.  The Quail Hollow Club is a par 71 measuring 7,554 yards in length and definitely caters more to the big-hitters.  Overall, tee-to-green specialists will likely play well this week but leaders in SG: Off-The-Tee will be the ones threatening to win.  There is a significant advantage with distance and accuracy off of the tee which especially comes into play when looking for scoring opportunities on the three par 5s and the closing three holes, known as the Green Mile.  Lastly, Mother Nature will not be much of a factor this week with hot and sunny conditions in the forecast with hardly any breeze.

The FGI PGA Interactive Model is going to assist us with our lineup building process because it identifies the best golfers with solid Current Form and whose Key Stats set up nicely for the Quail Hollow Club.  It also allows us to factor in Course History (primarily the 2017 PGA Championship) as well as an emphasis on Vegas (odds to win).  Below are the FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weights I will be using this week along with the Key Stats weights for the Wells Fargo Championship provided by our friends at Fantasy Golf Metrics:

FGI PGA Interactive Model Overall weights:

                Current Form: 30%

                Key Stats: 40%

                Vegas: 10%

                Course History: 20%

FGI PGA Interactive Model Key Stats weights:

                SGT2G: 30%

                SGOTT: 10%

                SGP: 20%

                DD: 5%

                SPROX: 7.5%

                PAR5: 7.5%

                BOB%: 20%
