Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Porsche Open (European Package)

Another good week for the Core, although not sensational. We had the winner, as a hometown boy, Francesco Molinari won for the second straight week (Joost Luiten two weeks ago). Besides the critical aspect of having the winner, we had a decent supporting cast with Richard Bland (T5), Rikard Karlberg (T12), David Lipsky (T16), and a great performance considering his price for Chris Hanson (T20). For those of you that use the sports book odds vs. daily pricing tool on our site, you would have noticed Hanson was one of the largest values on the board last week. That is why I always recommend you utilize all the tools we offer, because you never know what tiny bit of information can help you win a tremendous amount of money in GPPs.

This week we have the Porsche Open from Germany. Some of our favorite Core plays over the past month have performed well for us, but have seen a significant price increase (Canizares, Bland, etc). Although they may still look like quality plays, we need to decide whether the combination of their price and ownership increase will still make them good GPP plays. One of the many things I am looking for is consistent positive trending of results, even if they have not had a big-time finish yet. So if a guy finishes 59th, 42nd, 33rd, 21st in consecutive weeks, I like to seriously consider them, especially if they have not had a big finish. You will see a couple of guys in my Core this week who have some trending in their games. Euro DFS Golf is tough and has quite a bit of variance. You certainly are not going to win every week playing GPPs, but the goal is to hit the big wons and win over-time, just be sure to practice disciplined bankroll management.

Good Luck this week!
